Fast desalting
Place the cod fillets in 4 litres of water for 24 hours. Drain and place the fillets in fresh water for 3 hours. Repeat 4-5 times.
Ideal desalting
Place the cod fillets in 4 litres of water for 48 hours. Drain and place the fillets in fresh water for 5 hours. Repeat 3 times.
Big fillets may need more time
Desalting must be done inside the fridge
